Antalya & Mediterranean Coast
A cocktail of sun, beaches and history
The Mediterranean coast is perfect for those who long for warm sun and pristine white sand beaches, for those who love water and land sports, both tranquil and adrenalin-pumping and for those who like to relax—either ın perfect solitude or with friends both new and old-- in a venue steeped with history and beautiful surroundings. According to legend, King Attalus II of Pergamon (160 – 139 BC) sent out scouts to find the perfect spot for a new city. His scouts were wise indeed for the spot they found is perched on the wide Bay of Antalya just west of the Lycian Mountains. But Attalus and his men were not the only ones to appreciate the natural features of this place and Antalya became a place of contention, taken and lost by pirates, treasured by the Romans and a vibrant city that continued to thrive through the ages. Even today Antalya continues to attract visitors from countries around the world who, even if they can't make this city their own, come to enjoy all that the city and its environs have to offer.
